MRM is an award-winning multi-client promotional support services company, based in Market Harborough, Leicestershire. For over 30 years, our experienced team of 60 full-time staff have provided services to help brand owners and intermediaries achieve their commercial goals in areas such as product fulfilment, coupon redemptions and prize competition management.

We are skilled in managing complex tasks, creating implementation timelines for multi territory distributions, IT platform implementation and combining internal and external resources into a single client solution.

Through our breadth of commercial contacts we can introduce relevant new concepts to clients, which often leads to the development of alternative solutions and opportunities.

Post Brexit, a number of clients that we support across borders required us to form a strategic partnership with a parallel operation in North West Germany, to ensure we are able to offer cost effective EU fulfilment services.

MRM offers a dedicated Customer Service team, who are available to take orders over the phone or email, handle consumer queries, provide product advice or conduct product re-calls.

MRM has a diverse client base, include many leading consumer brand owners, charitable organisations, industrial manufacturing companies, sales promotion agencies as well as print management organisations.

Warehousing and Storage experts

MRM operates as a campus facility across two co-located sites in Market Harborough. Site One houses our Coupon redemption centre and is also home to our fulfilment operation, where we pick, pack and despatch orders for over 15 separate companies. 

This site also incorporates the client and customer contact centre along with administrative, IT and commercial functions. Site Two is our bulk storage facility, with 3,500 pallet locations within a secure warehouse. The two sites are approximately 50 metres apart with access between the two via a private roadway.

Years of experience

Multi Resource Marketing Ltd was established in July 1993, at our existing site in Market Harborough, Leicestershire in the heart of the East Midlands.
Just four years later, we ran Coca-Cola’s first internet driven promotion (‘Coke Auction’) and by 1999, we were firmly established as a coupons expert, delivering online reporting of coupon campaigns with our ‘Couponline’ product.

Innovators in the field, we were the first to introduce internet technology for reporting as early as 1999 as well as the first to implement automated processes such as image scanning.

By 2003, we completed our 5th Walkers Books for Schools campaign, which saw over 7 million books donated to schools.

In 2005 we took on additional warehousing space and the following year acquired ‘Finishing Touches’ – a specialist hand finishing operation, alongside Capita Fulfilment Services in Wetherby in 2009.

Although MRM was acquired by the French-based HighCo Group in 2011, we established our independence following a Management Buy-Out in 2016, when we relaunched with a new brand identity under Managing Director Marc Rigby.

Technology led, we revised ‘Alchemy’ (our bespoke order management and warehouse management system created by our in-house IT team) in 2012 and launched ‘Newton’ in 2016, our in-house end-to-end stock management and fulfilment system.

Our investment in house technology continues right up to the present day, with the roll out of ‘Lodestone’ in 2022, a cashback and promotional platform which, as a web app, can be used by multiple clients and is still being enhanced today.

MRM is a corporate member of The Institute of Promotional Marketing (IPM) which governs the UK promotional marketing industry on behalf of brands and agencies alike.

MRM Managing Director Marc Rigby chairs the Promotional Marketing Services Community within the IPM.

MRM company founder and Executive Chairman, Peter Kerr, is a current and long standing board member of the IPM, a former and a Fellow of the Institute.

Peter takes a proactive role within the industry, ensuring that the IPM is kept updated on the challenges faced by brands within the ever changing world of digital, retailer price pressures and evolving consumer expectations. Peter is also a former Chairman of the IPM – having served a two year tenure.

MRM has been recognised by its peers and competitors on several occasions over the past 15 years at the IPM COGS Awards.

These awards are designed specifically to recognise the ‘silent’ service partners in the industry, those companies who work behind the scenes with public sector clients, brands and agencies but for whom publicity of their work is rarely offered.

MRM has picked up 20 awards in 8 years, including the coveted Grand Prix award for its work on the 2016 Sport Relief campaign on behalf of Comic Relief, as well as Gold awards in the categories of Handling & Fulfilment, Loyalty Support Services and Direct Marketing.
